hey guys just thought i would show you something ...

i got a empire CF knight stick from fly who got it from some one else on these forums and this is by no way a dig at him its as he offered to give me my money back for it as he never noticed it but me being into getto modification of stuff as people know (robbo seeing my freak eclipse barrel i made) and my camera mounts and such well i thought the knightstick is about a .691 so to start with how it looked

as u can see the carbon fibre as come away from the sleeve that hold the thread

i think it wasn't made in the factory properly but what i thought i would do it use double freak insert that ive got and make a python compression kit insert for it so i put the insert into the back of the barrel and using a small nail scored a mark to cut to with a pipe cutter

then using a debering tool cleaned up the edge to make it smooth

i ended up with this and using a bit of PTFE tape to hold it in it looks like this

ive not pushed all the way in so u can see it in there

i know its abit hard to see but

so now i have a .689 pythonSTICK...... and it works really good

Are you just using the back with an insert or have you managed to fit an insert with the fibre tip attached?

It's not just a tip its a full barrel mate its a empire knight stick barrel

Thats tidy, and Ive just realised you've cut the insert down.
