I've been looking at our site stats on Google Analytic lately and I have to say, we're doing really good considering .... we got over 200 people on tonight and the average for the last month is well up year on year .....
We're growing even though some people speculated [or rather wanted] our site to fade away .... and this growth spurt we are now experiencing is against the trend in terms of the financial side of our industry ... our UK membership is up along with the rest of Europe.
Our second biggest national demographic [behind us] is the US, hardly surprising if you think about the common language .... but it's more than that.
I think people get worn down with bullsh!t and idiot kids spouting off here, there and everywhere, we do not suffer that crap on here and I have the greatest set of mods I could wish for, they do it because they love our sport and seek no compensation for putting hours of work in, people like Gassy, Mrs Gassy and Lump.
They are our filter, they help keep our site free from scammers and idiots. I'll ban a few people here and there if they start performing but for the most part, our major demographic is young ballers who genuinely care about our sport and behave responsibly. We might not always agree on things but in a sense, that's what makes things fun sometimes but hey ... nobody can be right all time.. come to think of it, I ain't a nobody so it must mean I am right all the time ...woo hoo !!!
PS And a big thanks to Bon as well, he's Mr Admin .. he helps me enormously with the techy side of things and is responsible for a lot of the chnages we have made.
