Hello guys I'm new here, just bought my first marker a 2nd hand x7, I took it all apart to inspect and all looked in great condition, only problem I found is that at first the marker would miss fire every now and again bug now has completely stopped feeding, when dismantling again I notice a grove in the inside of the casing around the cyclone air port which looks like it should have an o-ring in, goes between the power tube and the body? Would this missing o-ring be my problem? I have dismantled the cyclone and again in great condition and has a 'lighting rod' upgrade!

in short yes, that groove needs a oring in it to make a seal from the overflow of air that comes out the power tube and makes the cyclone work.
it will work with out it but not at 100%.

Thanks for the reply, I got a new seal but the cyclone still didn't work but I believe the problem was due to low air, my. Gauge on my tank is out of calibration, it's empty but still reading 1000psi, I believe I read somewhere that the cyclone stops feeding below 800psi is that correct? Cheers

its around 700-800 yes.
you could always do the spring mod as recommended by rap 4 to get it to cycle when you get lower air pressure.

Cheers, I already had a lighting rod and up rated exhaust housing so if I get up rated ratchet then that should help, I plan to get a tacamo mag kit at the end of the year any ways!
