Well if nothing else the riots have distracted us from the scumbag press and phone hacking (former sun editor arrested this week) and the biggest wholesale sell off of the NHS in its history (private firms are now allowed to cherry pick from many of it's sevices).

I've signed the E-petition and donated and I'm going to even the Karma up by gardening for all the neighbours who can't manage it this weekend, That should put us well in credit because I feckin hate gardening.

Btw have you seen some of the E-petitions - there are some proper barm pots out there
Have to admit I signed the death penalty one as well while I was there. I was in the mood...

Can't decide on that one, one minute I'm against it then I read about some evil ******* and I'm in a different mind. Suppose reading 'The Executioners Tale' about Albert Pierrepoint would make me say no.

It's fortunate that the decision is out of our hands as the European Unions constitution prohibits the death penalty (along with torture and slavery)

Breakfast at McD's sucks. Best breakfast in Manchester at the moment is at Essy's cafe. The Abegeldie cafe isn't bad, but it's dropped off a bit since the change of ownership.

I like a Full English. I could eat it three times a day, but I'd probably be dead.

People who eat a lot of red and processed meat are being advised for the first time to consider cutting down to help reduce the risk of bowel cancer, the UK Department of Health has announced.

One of my favourites when I'm doing a presentation that includes lunch is to ask if there are any vegetarians in the room. I tell them I'll count the pasty faces as they probably won't have enough strength to put their hands up.

Anyway, back on topic, Rupert Murdoch started the riots by using news of the world staff to hack twitter - allegedly

The riots were undoubtedly organized.
