OK, just thought I'd share up pic of a mask I've painted up in Multicam. Pictured with a genuine Tru-Spec Ranger cover in MC on top, for comparison.

If anyone is interested, I'm happy to post a HowTo (especially if someone can advise this newbie-to-the-board which forum is most appropriate). :)

Hi and welcome :) Thanks for sharing! Of course we would like to see a "how-to"!!!

At the moment, I dont know myself where the best place to post it is, but I would have thought if its picture heavy, then post it in "pics and vids". There has been talk of a "tinkerers corner" custom mods and guns sub forum, that sort of thing, but nothing has come of it yet as far as Im aware.

Feel free to join in with the masses, and anything you need, or need to know, please PM me. Will be happy to help.

Ahhh.....I've already started it in the Techroom (other products). It is here: http://www.p8ntballer-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?147645-How-to-paint-Multicam-on-a-mask&highlight=

Yes it is pic-heavy. Sorry if I've posted it in the wrong place...:(

Would it be worth painting 09 E-Vents? Or will the paint just crack as they are very flexible?

If not i`ll consider just doing the coloured lines around the goggle, which are areas that don`t flex

Can't say for sure. However, in the HowTo, I've painted two JT Flex 8s, which have very flexible lower mask areas. Acrylic paint, if thinned properly, will flex quite a lot and, in my experience, if you follow the instructions about thickish basecoats of acrylics, it will work quite well.
