I dont see the problem myself.
I am dyslexic and cant spell, My hand writeing is terrible and gramour well I wont even go there.
I cant help it but does anyone actually have serious issues undestanding what I am trying to get accross?
Now I know for fact there are a few spelling mistakes in this post because they are underlined in red.
Normally I go through and try to change them for the right word but I am not going to to emphasize the point.
Sadly not everyone has a A* or a Degree in English, I being one as I failed english, The best I could muster was a D.
But on the other hand I have managed to become a sucessfull Electrical Engineer and spent 7 years in college which I got through without any problems, I was actually top of the class!

There is a old engineering saying.... "Yesterday i didnt know how to spell engineer, Today I R one"

My point is some people really cant spell, Same as some cant do maths or work out cable calculations but they should not be thought of any less as long as they try.
I do not support lazy text speak or chav talk on forums, But spelling should not bother anyone as long as its understandable.

And if anyone has a problem with my (normally spell checked) spelling, Tuff!

Now go count the misstakes :p

That's all we should be asking for. It's the habitual lazy spellers that get people's backs up, and in turn, mine.

I'd like to know the national incidence in percentage terms of dyslexia and then compare that with what we have declared here on p8ntballer.com coz I am damned sure there's either a genetic connection between dyslexia and paintball players ...... or we have a few members on here who have used this unfortnuate illness as an excuse for their lack of effort.

Sadly its a term that is chucked around willy-nilly these days.
A bit like adhd and other things like that.

Simply it has become a excuse for the arogant and lazy.

Genuine spelling mistakes is don't mind. The only exception to this is Your/You're. :p THAT will always warrant a Cook$ law.

'Definately' is my favourite ... I think this one has to be the most common of all ...... and if anyone's interested, it's spelled definitely ..... :)

My fave is Nucular.
When you frown and ask them to say it again they actually emphasise the second 'u', just to make sure you realise they're putting it in there...
