I'm also completely serious and couldn't care less what the reason is (or the reasons are). But how is it you came to consider yourself a diehard Vicious fan?

Hi Baca. Just an 'off the cuff' remark after a few pints nothing more. I have followed Vicious since 07 and their rise up through the divisions. So as you can imagine more than happy that they now play in the Pro division. Although win or loose i will still support them.

Could be a number of reasons like

# winning promotion to the Pro league
# their online presence
# their shop with LE stuff including guns
# their general good nature at events
# playing in long sleeve t-shirts (which looked cool) for a few seasons when everyone else wore £60 pball versions with pads etc

Have you been to events and judged the team to be good natured?
The events I've been to they all look sour and angry at life. I would put them as the most insular team in the league, and have assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that they have a ginormous chip on their collective shoulders.

Perhaps I have them wrong, but I rarely see them smile - The team, or their fans. I always thought this was because they took everything so seriously...

I have no idea, I made that one up. I dont know Vicious, have never met or played them. Was just giving ideas as to why a team could be more "liked" than another, which I assume is the crux of this topic?

No, actually. I was particularly curious as to why Mudafunka seemed to like them with such zeal--though I appreciate the effort, Bolter. Nor is the generic version of my question a bad topic.
Perhaps TFP will make this into a separate thread so as not to redirect the thread's original intent.
