Well, I think it's obvious, the last thing we wanna be doing is looking for excuses .... if we go down that road, it's a road to nowhere ... fast.
We didn't play well enough ... end of!

Can we fix it?.. ...damned straight we can ... I've seen a fair part of our talent pool, I know we have the players, we just don't have the teams.
Simply put, it's all about getting the right players to do the right things ........

However, it's not so simply done as we all know well enough .....we need quality coaches who know that they are doing and we don't seem to have them.
Maybe it's time we set up some sort of academy for coaches ...

Just out of interest where did you finish in this event?

Very easy to make criticisms when you're not the one grafting points out on the field.

My thoughts exactly, I read his post and immediately thought 'what a prick'! Now i know that its hard to interpret sarcasm over the net, but Raider mate, your post justs come across as arrogant and/or obviously ill informed! perhaps you should spend a few weekends travelling around the country to various training sites and see just how much effort all of these teams put in, week in week out.

Impulse every one has a right to an opinion but dude thats is so way off the mark it's untrue and in my "opinion" offensive.

Unless you want to put your boats on and man up and get on the field of play at the same level as us you can't judgment like that it's unfair.

We didn't train as much as we could of but people have lives and we did the same practice for Paris and came first so your statement goes out of the window.

When you sweat grind and play your hearts out the last thing you want to come home and read is that ignorant post.

Keep on trucking.

Now now children. The man made a mistake in what he posted, he didn't mean it to be a dig at anybody in particular or any teams.

Truth of the matter is the field was a difficult one to play being somewhat symmetrical. I thought that we would see some strange results and I think that has been proven. No team had an easy ride through any of the divisions i looked through yesterday, that isn't generally the case.
Roll on the next layout, I don't think you'd have found a team who genuinely liked this one

Mikey, at times like this, when people are throwing in opinions like confetti, the best thing to do is to try and identify some significant indicators .... I don't like the notion of field design being suggested as a reason for below par performances because everyone has to play the same field .. you cannot pick and choose field design as a convenient excuse unless there is a signifcant design change, and I mean significant .. I'm not saying this is the case here but a good indicator is, look at the teams who did well .. are these the teams that normally succeed?
If so, then any argument that involves field design is flawed I'm afraid mate but conversely, if the tournament threw up consistent results that bucked the previous trends at events [not just this years, last as well] then it's possible the field design had some effect ....
But let's get real here guys .. every single team there is playing paintball on a paintball field .... the field was designed within esssentially the same parameters as it always has been in terms of numbers of bunkers and frequency of type.

As long as there was no significant departure from accepted design such as the placement of the snake standing on its frikkin head then all teams can expect to compete on an even playing field ... that's essentially what paintball tournaments are meant to do ....
