look at my post as you will, but the general response to it was as expected, immature. This topic was open to discussion, regardless on how old the topic was or how 'idiotic' you thought it was. The fact not one post in response was an adequate one, it lacked any form of rational discussion, a childish 'comeback' to insult me in any way possible and no doubt this will receive the same response.

desponge, no, I won't ridicule you now because it's obvious I think, you've seen the error in coming on here pseudo-attacking me when you haven't heard both sides ... its tone wasn't really friendly and it certainly looked anything but you were after a reasoned response, you were treated appropriately based upon the tone and content of your post ... if this wasn't the case, then you wouldn't have elicited that response from everybody, maybe from me you might but not everybody who did. The fact you got the unanimous resposne tells the truth of the matter, Now whatever spin you wish to put on that post now is academic because people's perceptions will always override what you may now tell us in an attempt to damp down the tone or content of that post.

Your post didn't attempt to elicit a reasoned response in any way and so please don't try to shift responsibility toward those who responded to what without doubt was an inflammatory entrance by yourself.

It's bad enough people posting when they haven't heard both sides but you opened a thread not knowing which is even more inflammatory for obvious reasons.

Now, stop trying to worm out of what you did and blaming other people calling them infantile .. your post was ignorant at best, it really was, now man up and move on.

The irony is here though, you go away for a couple of years, come back to play a dying league series, get yer head filled with a load of BS and then feel entitled to come onto my site and start shouting the odds and then, you have the audacity to moan you haven't been treated fairly and didn't get educated responses???

This subject has been done to death in this forum and did not need resurrecting just because you'd been fed a bunch of bull and felt some form of entitlement to open your mouth in here coz u'd been away for a few years, who the hell do you think you are??

You really need to think about what you said, how you said it and how you think it might be received on MY site considering the subject matter; think about that before you attempt to blame me or any of my members again for anything less than a reasoned response ...

Now, if you wish me to enter into a reasoned debate with you exploring all that was done, and trust me, I will tell you everything from deceit to lies to fraud; I will tell all that was done in the past, all you gotta do is now run back to your masters and go tell them what you are just about to do .... and then come back on here and ask the questions you feel need answering and I'll oblige you ... or you could do what most people do when being away for some time and wanting to catch up, trawl back thru the pages on here ....... or is it you want the more personal touch?
Or you may indeed just want your name up in lights and you can't be arsed to go trawling???

Robbo's first post was informative, it was in robbo's own inimitable style, but what were you expecting from a post which was had a undercurrent directed towards him.

I would have expected a inflamitry response and an imature response from a thread that i created called WTF!!! and from one saying that "this needs to be sorted out asap but will it?.......no it wont because it all about 'every man for themselves' so im just saying now...........told you so" There are lots of people trying to breath life into our paintball that we love, not just groupls like the Fed, lots of individuals,new tornies such as f5's, you targeted all of these in your first post,so its no wonder people will be aggressive and immature towards you,

Baud, I'm afraid desponge completely ignored the fact he's done fack all for our sport, and I mean fack all but still feels the need to attack people who have done something.

He comes on here shouting the odds but if I had a pound for every hour I've spent trying to put our tourney circuit back to where it was, I'd be a lot better off than I am now ... and of course all the frikkin money it's cost me .... but nah, desponge would rather attack and deride than face up to the fact he's done nothing but author a post entitled WTF???

And the very people he seeks to defend are the very reason we got into so much sh!te in the first place .. ALL of their decisions over the past years have been a derivative of one thing and one thing only .. the need for money, more and more of it !!!
If desponge would like to reimburse me all the money I have spent in trying to make things right for our sport and put in the many hours of work and time I have spent in talks and driving etc then, and only then can he come on here and criticise me ..... but he can't even face up to the truth when it's laid out before him

This is pete's forum, and the mods work hard to keep it fair. You mention you have a family, so I would like to think you have respect for them, this community is the same as a family. Learn to respect other ballers, we may not all play in the same tourneys but we all love paintball.

So if you are gonna attack a forum about the way it is run atleast speak to a mod or the owner privately first so you don't give the perception of an idiot (I am not calling you an idiot just saying it is the perception you are giving).

Secondly If you are gonna praise the masters while running down this forum or other tourneys as you draw comparisons, check with the the tourney owner or a couple of regular team captains first. What you have done whether you realise it or not is alienated yourself from this forum and possibly from some of the teams.

I am sure the tourney owners would have preferred If you had kept your opinion to yourself but they are not accountable for their customers.

My son still plays for dv8 so yes I have heard many versions, but I do not jump into the politics because I like others enjoy paintball and just wanna play, but you have over stepped the mark. Why not hold back on the bold opinions that you know are gonna flame until you have played a few more tourneys again?

Take yourself down to cpps, as well as the masters and see what you think before you come shouting the odds. I know if you had done this and I was the owner I'd give you a thick ear, probably why I don't run forums or tourneys lol.

Seriously most teams if you approach them at a tourney are friendly and will chat and give advice, on here it is the same. The uk paintball community is a big family that look out for each other, yes parts of it fall out but tell me where in business and life that doesn't happen?

I have read all of this thread and desponge in my opinion you are going about things the wrong way, yes some people have been harsh in their replies to you but you brought this on yourself.

Jitsu, actually it's our forum mate, 'our' meaning me, my mods and my guests .... it wouldn't be much of a forum with just me and our mods sitting here without our members ..... I might be able to zap a few idiots when they get outa hand but for the most part the vast, vast majority are most welcome and well behaved members ..... just the way I like it

All this could have been to jack a few backs up you know and if it was ...IT WORKED , however this has been an entertaining thread not so much to what Desponge said but to see the response that everyone has given , I must say though that sometimes in life It`s good turn a blind eye to idiots but in this case it came to a personal dig , how on earth did he think you were going to turn the other cheek Pete and Mods. Bluey .. ya know what mate? ... people like desponge and his ilk will see yours, and everyone else's posts in this thread as you guys posting because you are in my 'gang' .... really!!! ....

The like to portray anyone who agrees with me as nothing more than ass-licking individuals trying to ingratiate themselves with me and yet that couldn't be further from the truth and is actually quite insulting to everyone.

I suppose it's an understandable strategy to adopt in accusing people who agree with me of ass-licking because it tends to undermine whatever position I am adopting but it doesn't ever give credit to you guys having an informed opinion and the intelligence to make an informed post which is ironically something that's beyond the likes of desponge thus the default to a cheap shot like accusing people of ingratiating themselves.

I just count myself really lucky that I have members who feel independent enough to state their feelings and opinions taking zero notice of such outrageous claims like these.
