And as for you mr desponge ...... it is quite obvious you veiled your attack and you did so behind such terms as 'forum', 'website' and 'moderators', all of which led back to me I'm afraid .....
The following statement from yourself pretty much contains all the clues as to the identity of your chosen victim ...
I'm hearing stories from a number of people about how much people in the sport are quick to back-stab each other and slag them off. im also hearing that this very website is quick to ban people for speaking their mind about certain situations (SPEAK YOUR BRAINS) as some people dont like to be told whats what. we as a sport are never going to grow as long as their are people running things that only look out for themselves and their own interests,
Of course you can deny this but even though you don't actually name me, it's obvious to anybody who knows the history of what went down .. which is ironic seeing as you didn't bother to find out any of it.
You describe the resultant attack upon yourself as mindless piggy-backing but you are 100% wrong or misguided, they just read your post as you meant it to be read and didn't agree with it, simple !
Just because they ripped you a new as$hole doesn't mean they piggy-backed on anything, they just didn't like your attack and dismantled it accordingly.
I'm sure you believed you thought were being clever or even helpful [for the masters mob] but I'm sure they don't really want you opening up that can of worms again coz they know I'm gonna just let people know what they did again.
I ain't gonna ban you desponge because I'd like to think you might try and find out really what went down and far from being the sort of person to work against the interests of our league structure and our teams, I have done a lot more than most to try and help out .. I really have .. and I will continue to do so even though attacks like yours pis$ me off.
It goes with the territory I know but it still gets kinda tiresome when dealing with ignorant attacks like yours ...

And just to put another side to all this desponge, you have had some support in terms of someone saying you're an ok guy, if not a little misguided, and so I'm gonna give you another chance here .. you came in here like a bull in a china shop with me on the menu ... let's forget you did that and start again but this time, try to learn both sides of any dispute before passing comment, deal?
Very true Rob i was just voicing what i felt mate hopefully event organisers and players can move on and move the UK scene forward.

Scott, you're quite right, it would be more helpful not to attack anyone but if you'd noticed, it didn't start from my end mate .. it came from one of the master's acolytes ..... again
Ya see, it's all well and good spreading bullsh!t about me but sometimes people go away and author a post on the strength of that BS because they don't know any better and feel empowered for some reason.
It's pretty obvious now, desponge didn't have the brains or inclination to get a balanced idea of what really went down and so his post was rightfully ridiculed.
It's ironic really because this BS was propagated to deflect away from the real reasons for this situation but it came back to bite them in the ass ... next time they might be a little more careful as to what they say and to whom ..
Now maybes he wasn't put up to it, maybe he did it off his own back..but where do you think he got the 'information' from Scott???

As for your point re Chris's NSPL ... don't ya think that might have been caused by too many events in the same area?????
The very thing we tried to protect against and the very thing that was compromised by the breaking of a promise in such a completely unprofessional and disrespectful way ..
And one more thing scott, the masters are offering free entry to some teams and big discounts to others to try and get them kick-started which of course will be taken advantage of by some teams and gives an artifical take on what's really going on ... hence your skewed evaluation of Chris's NSPL when compared to the masters.
Everything's a little different from what people are being told but when you do eventually find out what's going on behind the scenes .. it all seems a bit sad to me because it really didn't have to be this way, it really didn't.
All people had to do was keep to their word and act professionally, not too much to ask is it?

No, they don't make any sense whatsoever .. they might to you but not to me; I find in life, idiotic people tend to make idiotic posts .. you just don't get a silk purse from a sow's ear.
But as you noted, his tone wasn't exactly impartial and maybe it's that that's affecting my judgment of him and his post.

look at my post as you will, but the general response to it was as expected, immature. This topic was open to discussion, regardless on how old the topic was or how 'idiotic' you thought it was. The fact not one post in response was an adequate one, it lacked any form of rational discussion, a childish 'comeback' to insult me in any way possible and no doubt this will recieve the same response.
