For my 2p worth - I am one of the Ultimates at the UK masters and i have also have been the Ultimate at the CPPS and NSPL's - I personally dont feel that dragging down any series isnt the way forward if this sport is to grow within the UK with the amount of teams that are folding and the current economical state people will always want to play for the cheapest means, so if the masters does offer cheaper discounted rate then so be it ???
I know rich Chris and Wendy all very well and the facts are there for people to see the CPPS does have 3 times as many teams and may well be a better series for teams to play but i know as i have met lots of people here who are saying that the UK masters is rubbish ect ect so maybe you shouldnt be so quick to post up and slate this when you still reguly guest for teams at those events and be so two faced !
I have noticed that even the NSPL has suffered this year and there are not as many teams as previous seasons but that does not mean it is at all a bad series just means that teams want to play other formats. This guy however come across in the wrong way totally, and should think about who he has come across however if you break down his points then some of them do kind off make sense.
Scott, you're quite right, it would be more helpful not to attack anyone but if you'd noticed, it didn't start from my end mate .. it came from one of the master's acolytes ..... again
Ya see, it's all well and good spreading bullsh!t about me but sometimes people go away and author a post on the strength of that BS because they don't know any better and feel empowered for some reason.
It's pretty obvious now, desponge didn't have the brains or inclination to get a balanced idea of what really went down and so his post was rightfully ridiculed.
It's ironic really because this BS was propagated to deflect away from the real reasons for this situation but it came back to bite them in the ass ... next time they might be a little more careful as to what they say and to whom ..
Now maybes he wasn't put up to it, maybe he did it off his own back..but where do you think he got the 'information' from Scott???

As for your point re Chris's NSPL ... don't ya think that might have been caused by too many events in the same area?????
The very thing we tried to protect against and the very thing that was compromised by the breaking of a promise in such a completely unprofessional and disrespectful way ..
And one more thing scott, the masters are offering free entry to some teams and big discounts to others to try and get them kick-started which of course will be taken advantage of by some teams and gives an artifical take on what's really going on ... hence your skewed evaluation of Chris's NSPL when compared to the masters.
Everything's a little different from what people are being told but when you do eventually find out what's going on behind the scenes .. it all seems a bit sad to me because it really didn't have to be this way, it really didn't.
All people had to do was keep to their word and act professionally, not too much to ask is it?

No, they don't make any sense whatsoever .. they might to you but not to me; I find in life, idiotic people tend to make idiotic posts .. you just don't get a silk purse from a sow's ear.
But as you noted, his tone wasn't exactly impartial and maybe it's that that's affecting my judgment of him and his post.
