Thib, not sure about the drive, I'll come back to you. The screen plays HD vids fine, but to be honest you may be better off with a more expensive (& bigger) laptop, as I don't think this is really suited to running powerful apps. It's more of a web netbook.

as it as the atom processor (like the very machine i'm typing on) it will be clocked at 1.6ghz and it is dual core, ram wise for netbooks is normally 1gb, 2gb max and if im presuming it has a n450 integrated card the graphics will have 0mb dedicated memory, again this is going by my machine (although most netbooks i've seen have very similar specs) app/ game wise i can actually play rome total war on this on low/medium settings without any problems, however they are certainly not for gaming. hope that shed some light (although aside from the processer and graphics, i may be wrong):) p.s hard drive size will vary, but common ones i've seen are 100gb to 200gb

Basically i need to buy a laptop to run a application which just doesn't work with lower definition than 1024: planet tech applications and other programms used for warranty records, .... :)
