Any pump event will be held along side the existing series dates Here

As for the first one and prices etc, Soul Doubt was more or less testing the water with this, from the response from you guys so far I have no doubt that it will go ahead and soon. Wether or not this will be 3 or 5 man event, and how much costings will be is a little bit up in the air.

Some questions I have are:

What format would you want? M5, Race2, Centre Flag, Etc?

What size teams? 5, 3?

Would you want to be mixed into the standard event ie a pump division?

Would you want to play against teams not running pumps?

Anyway enough from me :)
I'm not that familiar with different rules and formats - mainly a woodsball player to be honest. I would prefer 5 man if possible as I played 3 man pump on tiny Xball fields and the games didn't last long enough. Teams often lost 2 players off the break, making it a bit of a 30 second walk over.

No semi's please and open class pumps running gravity hoppers and HPA

Although... an old school mech/semi only match could be a lot of fun :D

Just an idea but it might be worth a try to get the guy's at powerball or Arrow precision interested and getting involved in some way, considering there the peep's behind the sales and production of the Sterling pump range, you never know they might lend/loan the organisers a few spare Sterlings for people without pumps and thus get a few more people interested in playing the event.

I think maybe like a paint limit for each team would be interesting ?

I think people running electronic hoppers off pumps with AT's kinda kills it for me,
I mean whats the point in playing pump if people are still going to try and lane by just throwing ropes of paint

Maybe like 50 rounds per player or something ?
Would make it much ore interesting to watch and play better ?

We tried it at UKM and even with a 50 ball cap none of us were running out, all running Nelsons or AT'd Sheridans. I don't think it will make a difference, even with an AT you'll only get 6bps and it won't be anywhere near accurate; movement and tracing always won.

Edit: Then again i'm happy to go with whatever the masses want, whichever is the healthiest for the format's growth!

I think open class, no paint limits would be best. Not sure about pneu-assist or MQs?
Totally agree on the lack of accuracy with fast ATing, seems rather pointless.
