Well, allow me (if I may) to fill in a few gaps.so have method left laysick and gone back to their old names...confused :S
Method were originally a bunch of schoolfriends who were the first to be sponsored by the Laysick brand back around, I think, 2003/4. One of their lineup was the designer behind Laysick.
So Manc were originally a bunch of gangsters based around the Manchester area. They were around the circuit quite a bit in 2003/4/5, even playing at HB. The original lineup then went their seperate ways.
In 2007, the So Manc name was rejuvenated with players including Wilson, Stevo, Mikey D and even myself playing the UK circuit, wearing Laysick jerseys.
In 2008, Jeff Crewe was at the helm of So Manc. they picked up DYE sponsorship and spent the year training. A number of players joined the squad, includng Tommy Webb and Asa Baker. The team continued their relationship with Laysick.
In 2009, So Manc retained their DYE sponsorship andcompeted in the CPPS.
While this was going on with So Manc, Method had begun a long relationship with Eclipse and were competing in the European leagues in their own right. Their players were also competing in the CPL on the Copenhagen Ducks roster.
In 2010, as you know, So Manc took the Manchester Method name, wearing Laysick and shooting Eclipse. They competed in the SPL and the CPPS, as well as other events. They reached an agreement with some of the original So Manc squad for the original team - now based out of Asylum Paintball, Stockport - to use the So Manc name. This team competed in the CPPS also.
For 2011, Manchester Method are now the "new" So Manc, with Steve Brown as Captain, are back with DYE.
Mikey D and Stevo are probably two of the best players in the UK. And Asa is one of the oldest.
Ronnie, Glen, Jeff - feel free to correct any of the above!
