So, I apologise for some of this post which may be taken as unashamed self promotion but.......

Thanks to Rich's hard endeavours, it looks like we have 70 teams at the moment for round 1. Question is, can anyone remember what the volume of team entries were like during the heyday of say 6-10 years ago?

I think the PA had about 50-60, The Welsh open at Wrexham was always well populated as was the Masters and shoot the rainbow but for the life of me I can't remember what the average number of teams entering was.......?

Rich may correct me on this but I believe that since we started with two fields and 23 teams in 2008 we have maintained the 2008 price and grown to a new venue and now 5 fields......oh god self promotion again
