Hi guys, i'm looking into getting a new mask for this years tournaments, I currently have a set of I4's which are nice and comfy but I suffer alot from glare in the middle of the mask due to wearing glasses and alot of misting. So I was considering a set of angel eyes as the title suggests. Does anyone have any experience with them, can you provide a quick review. (i'd obviously love to hear from anyone who wears glasses especially)

Best bet right now is to look at youtube vids for the prototype models. Plenty of people who previewed the prototypes also wore glasses.....

Dont think a retail version of the Angel Eyes is even available to buy in the US yet so nobody will have a reasoned opinion of what it is like to wear.

EDIT: i type too slow!

I thought they got released at the paris leg of the millenium series. Ahh well, looksl like i'll be in for a wait then. Thanks for the heads up guys. I've tried to work with contact but I have a nightmare getting them in, i understand it just takes practice but I tried them for 6months and they were no good for me.

EDITED: ADDED CONTACTs REPLY

i tried a set of the prototypes on at NvS last year, overall i was impressed

the cheek pads instead of traditional nose and cheek piece was very comfortable, in fact they are if anything a little more so than my I4s, the lenses seemed huge so a huge field of vision, out of the tints that were availible i would go for a darker one (smoke or possibly mirror) as they weren't as dark as most and they look much cooler :p

however i can see a couple of problems arising through early stages of release but i'm sure these will be addressed quickly or even before release, the first and most important is with the lenses, the prototypes did not have thermal lenses (i am unsure if they will when released) and unless they have a very powerfull anti fog coating or device then i can see fogging beig a very common issue, esspecially as i was breathing directly onto the lense through my nose due to the cheek pads

another problem which was suggested by a team mate was that the fins on the front although looking great, you would have a hell of a job to get paint out from behind them if they aren't removable in some way

all in all they are very comfertable, look the tits and have great vision, however the lenses might let them down in the long run (being right in front of the wearer's nose) but only time will tell

from the people that tried them at NvS LIPS got loads of pre orders so everyone seemed impressed

hope this helps
Ryan, team domination

@ Soul Snatcher24: Thank you for your rather comperhensive overview of the mask, it was very informative and has now got me set on waiting for them to come out in the summer so as I can give them a try out.
