is it worth buying upgrades for the mini or am i beter saving for new marker maybe pik up ego 9 for under 500
how much 4 the postage mate cheers
You have the stock board, was asking cause I have some decent settings if you wanna have a try?
Dwell 34 flashes, BIP 6-8 flashes

New board will do everything the stock one does. Personally I would save your money for playing. Dont get caught up in the upgrade world.

What needs upgrading? It shoots paint, Im sending you a new barrel so you should be good to go mate! Go to simonized.com and check out all the videos how to take it apart and clean it etc.

If it aint broke, dn't mess it about. The stock invert mini barrel in fine - I use one myself, on my timmy, from time to time. There're no upgrades available for the mini that actually make a noticeable difference, whereas a boxof paint and a day training will;)

Nothings neciserilly wrong with it, I just want to improve what I have, more range, accuracy ect. :)
The simple reason why a lot of players buy aftermarket barrels is purely for cosmetics. Some players do buy barrel kits to match the barrel bore to the size of the paint (as we all know, paint comes in different sizes/bore ), in effect less air escapes around the paintball when projected through the barrel, and also the ability to lower the operating pressure of there markers to shoot the same distance as you would with a bigger bore barrel having a higher operating pressure.
This would also create a smoother shot and more efficient on air usage. But in reality, it is'nt as noticeable as you might think.

One thing to remember with a paintball marker barrel, they are not riffled, all have smooth surface, so all will perform the same given the same marker set at the same velocity FPS.

There are other gains from changing barrels thou.
After market choices include lighter carbonfibre material, the down side of carbonfibre barrels are they will make the shot louder.

Different porting will also make different sound signitures, more porting = quieter.
No porting = cannon.

As for the electronic boards...in the UK there really is'nt much reason why you should change the board, the stock board has all the modes available needed to play in the UK.

Any other upgrades, mainly cosmetics, leave it stock.
I can however sell you some stickers that will make your marker perform better :bs::p
