Sacramento XSV to shoot Empire AXE Marker in 2011

Sewell, NJ, January 31st, 2011, Empire Paintball. Empire Paintball announces that pro paintball team, Sacramento XSV, will play the NPPL series with the Empire AXE Marker.

“The team has been very impressed with the performance of the gun,” said Rich Telford of Sacramento XSV. “I remember a time when a great, pro-level marker needed to be out of this world expensive! Last month, Empire Paintball released the new Empire AXE Marker. On first glance, the marker may look like a Mini, but once the marker is shot, it is a completely different story:

• Smooth and stable firing platform with feather light kick
• Easy maintenance with unique push-button bolt out back design
• Adjustable bearing trigger with micro-switch activation
• On/Off ASA with integrated pressure regulator

Im fairly certain JB will have something to say about that.

Ive shot one, thought it was really good. If we are guessing at cynical thoughts, Im assuming you have written this marker off due to the price bracket and word of mouth without trying it.

I have to say the Invert Mini is still in my kit bag and gets pulled out whenever someone has a disaster witht heir own marker. In my opinion, and i've said this for a long time, it was one of the most underrated markers out there.

Brilliant little gun, thanks to Bolter for convincing me i needed one in my kitbag. 3 years I've had it, it's survived punters, being loaned to others, me and I've only ever stripped it down and cleaned it properly twice in all that time. Asides from that the mud gets wiped off, it's put back in the bag and occasionally a new battery gets whacked in.

This is not 2006 when pro's got paid big money from a gun sponsor! Some people think you have to have the high-end gun to play at your best but this gun will make it easy for people to play at a higher level without spending to much money. I say right now that's a good thing in Paintball!

We have been told by Empire to work this gun hard and give them as mush feed back as we can. This will be the start of some good things for XSV and Empire.
