Barrel

I am considering getting a new barrel for my standard Etek.

I am torn what barrel to get.
either dye ultralite tip and back
or a carbon fiber boomstick (dye)
any suggestions are welcome.

i'm personally using the sly merc range which look sweet as on my etek 3 and ego 05, they do seem a bit loud though but that may be because they are 16" long. I've found the stiffi barrels shoot really well and if your having trouble with a box of paint the stiffi's will go through it perfectly. shamefully i can't advise you on any of the types you have mentioned but i hope this was some sort of a help to you.

Get the CF boomstick if you've got that kind of cash theres a guy selling one here for £80 cheap!....

go with the first option, the second is way more expensive and almost the cost of your marker presuming its not an etek 3, but even so £100 plus for a barrel is steep.

Always loved UL when I had one for all of my previous markers, so much so I've just bought one for my Ego. Shaft's are supposed to be good.

Well firstly it depends on what your playing, woodsball or airball.

With woodsball i`d get the apex 2, and with air i`d go for the second hand boomstick if its still available.
