Art chaos and Outrage will no doubt take their spots in CPL. It's pretty silly to even think they won't

Art chaos will no doubt be up around the top if they keep the same squad as last year too

What is worth looking at is who will take the other spots? There are the bullets/menace spots which will no doubt go to Dye teams, but who?

The joy spot appears to have been taken by yet another planet team who seem to be taking over!! Then if DynaPact aren't playing (confirmed? I see Archie after a game) then which team possibly from the Planet group might move up??

If any division will struggle to be filled, it'll be SPL at the minute. It had only 28 of 32 last year, already 3 have gone up and maybe more (vision maybe?). Then Method are gone. I have heard more will be dropping out but not heard anything confirmed yet.

Could this be the last year for Millenniums?

It makes for an interesting interview tomorrow .... I know I have asked you guys before for suggestions to questions I can ask Steve Baldwin of the MIllennium but that interview date was postponed and now I'm seeing him tomorrow ... I'll try and ask as many questions as you guys can come up with as long as they are sensible ..
I'll start another thread and link to it but gimme a few minutes to create the thread and amend this post accordingly to add the link ..I don't really wanna hi-jack this thread and this is why I'm starting another thread ...

Here's the link :-

What I am concerned about is whether the major league circuits as we know them will survive the next year or two.

So changing the format back to "Open" instead of having locked divisions is appealing, for a start.

I have been advocating opening up the leagues for some time now and it's like a lot of things in life Jon, change won't come thru commonsense, it will happen because it's forced upon them .... and that's the best scenario because the alternative to this is the league dies and the Millennium has no opportunity to impose change .... it suggests the Millennium guys need some quality introspection time but there is little to no evidence they have the inclination let alone the capability ....

they wont survive if they have huge prices like the currently do. i for one would play the MS if the prices wernt so damn high. its not just the entry fee and paint its all the other things like flights, travel, time off work etc it all really adds up so really they price themselves out of the marke to the masses

thing is there is no succession planning with this kind of thing in the sport. top teams are dropping out due to the cash implications that the series is putting on them , lesser experienced teams wont just fill these spots for many reason such as they cant commit to the whole series and just play the one off event or dont have the funds to do so. any any way if they did they would probably just get humped because they get put in a higher div than they should be in to make up numbers, not enjoy the tornament and probably not play again leaving huge gaps in divisions

at the end of the day this sport is still a leisure activity and site owners and tornament organisers need to remember we are there because we want to be , we are paying to be there and we are the customers and what we want goes .......or you wont have any customers

I would like to post up a table comparing the entry fees of the NPPL, PSP and MS.

I have the info I need for both of the US series, but I need to know what the entry fee is for CPL, SPL & D1 MS.

Can anyone tell me what they are?

Thank you.

Is it not 6 teams that have dropped out of pro including 2 relegations? or maybe even 7
I'll do a count and post up again.

Incidentally, a new pro team will be playing PSP this year - Chattanooga CEP.

And no, I haven't heard of them either.

And has Eclipse taken DYE's place as Master Sponsor of the PSP?

I don't understand why the two relegated teams should be listed with team who stop playing ???
It's not really same.
CPL hasn't lost relegated teams ....

But as said earlier, the division we need to worry about is the SPL which might be massively empty this year ....
