out of test air

Anyone know what the going rate is on an out of date air bottle (with reg attached) in good nick?

Isnt that the test rate mate? Sorry if i wasnt clear, i was thinking of how much to buy / sell an out of test one. (basically i was thinking of buying an out of test one from my friend and then get it tested but i dont want to short change him cos he is my friend but i also want a bargain)

maybe about the same, out of test bottle is worthless until it can be used. and with the market as it is, im say about £35/40 max

You can get a tested fibre bottle for £70-80, and a new steelie for £45ish. Knock off £35 for a re-test AND factor in the uncertainty of it passing and it really isn't worth bothering buying an untested bottle.....

Good nick or not, i personally would'nt risk buying an out of date bottle, not worth the hassle, get the seller have it tested to be on the safe side.
Seriously, there should'nt be an option to sell any bottle out of test.
