I thought I’ll just drop this in here since it makes most “sense” I guess …

I have been looking around for places to customize markers and looked in the forum and got in touch with foot as well yesterday – unluckily it seems his contact is no longer available as well. Can I suggest to maybe get a “official Engraving/Anodizing Services” Thread up and people can maybe list contacts they have in the UK which we can then use as a reference point?

Most comments I have received so far have been “the US might be your best shout” – which I don’t want to believe. =P

Mods? Veterans? Anyone?

Most anodizers just do big batches of commercial parts and aren't interested in doing the half a dozen parts that most of us would want to have done. Hence the setup charge that made up the bulk of the price of getting anything done by Sloth.

In the past i've taken guns/parts to my local anodizers and have never been very happy with the results. I think people underestimate what a great service Sloth provided to those of us with more money than sense when it comes to making a hand cannon look nice without improving performance in anyway, shape or form. I would strongly suggest that people use the paintball specific services in the States unless someone in the UK wants to take over from where Sloth/Jamie left off... ;)
