Think it makes for a good read, and it needed to be said.

It highlights that things do need to be changed......and quick, before we're all left scratching our heads. At the end of the day, playing is a costly business and that older, "cash rich" demographic needs to be playing ball, so any change which allows these people to either continue or return to the field can only be positive one.

That was a good read. I think the PSP would avoid a lot of the outrage that was brought on by the announced change in the rules if they'd have published Lane's statement alongside it.
