Ego 08 Help!

Can anyone tell me have to set the EGO 08 so that I can change the firing modes using the bottons on the handle rather than having to take the grip on and switch to menu??

Open the grips and go into menu and turn off the Lock, then when u press up on the buttons later on (when grips are on) it will allow you to change the mode

Make sure that you don't switch on tournament lock.

As soon as you do, the only way to chnge modes is by taking off the grip - designed that way, to stop cheating in a game.

See thats what I thought but the only thing the up button does is turn the break beam sensor on and off, not switch between firing modes.

to get into the settings with the lock off you need to hold the power button (so that it asks you wheather or not you wish to turn the gun off), then you can use the arrows to cycle through the settings as you do using the red button

there are visual diagrams in your manual if you are having trouble
