Hi Guys just wondering if you might have any ideas on an issue ive got with my NT.

As soon as i start to shoot the marker, it may fire the first ball then it refuses to cycle and just makes a faint 'pfft' sound, the lights indicate that there is a problem with the eyes.

Any ideas what this could be? ive adjusted the reg pressure, made sure the bottle was full, taken the bolt out and re-lubed it just to make sure. But none of these seem to have worked. Could this be a problem i can fix or am i needing it to be teched?
It got all the newer parts fitted at the NVS Big game. Well the yye pipe is atleast. Im not too sure on what the other upgrades were.

Thanks
Justin

The led light only tell you the eye didn't detect the bolt cycle, which is normal if it didn't shoot.

Please check your battery is fine.

When you say it shoot the first ball, do you mean:
- it shoot the first time you pull the trigger ?
- or it shoot when you turn the air on ?

If you wait a bit between shots, does it shoot again ?

Any idea what setting your dwell is at ?

all this said, I would wait for a dye tech to solve your problem or to let you know if you need to have it serviced.

Sounds like a battery problem or reg pressure, they are pretty fussy that they need to be set at 130psi, when I had mine I bought a pressure tester. Tried running at a slightly lower pressure(to lower the recoil) and it would not have it, spluttered and had trouble cycling. Make sure the battery is a good make as cheap batteries can cause issues.

The first trigger pull after the air is on.

No

Should be as standard factory, only thing ive changed is the BPS and firing mode.

As for the battery i only use pro cells, it seemed fine while i was playing. put in a new one yesterday but dont have the facilities to shoot the marker as i live in a 1st floor flat :/

I adjusted the reg pressure when firing to see if it would work (as ive adjusted it before when this problem opccured then it started working again, i did this for the pressure going up and the pressure going down but it did nothing and still refused to cycle.

Hi

Try setting the dwell to 8ms.

Also check that the rear spool bumper has not perished, as this can cause spool stick, which in turn prevents the bolt from cycling. Replace this bumper with the notched bumper (same as the front spool bumper) if you havent already done so.

If you are still stuck after that, then contact the DYE Europe Technical Support Department on eurotech@[nospam]dyeprecision.com (obviously removing the no spam part)

Thanks

Yes its right on the end of the spool, just put another in. Either a slotted one from your kit or an un sloted one. they both do the same thing.

It doesnt seem to be worn, i reset to factory, change it to mills mode 10.5bps and the dwell to 8 as instructed, put a few balls through it and it was cycling everytime. Need to take it out for a day see if its ok. Thanks for the help.
