It's not just children that come out with daft statements.
I once pulled a guy up for not wearing hearing protection in a compressor house, an area so noisy your going to have hearing damage in about 1/2 hours exposure.
After taking him out of the area I asked him if he was aware he should wear ear defenders, his reply;

'It's OK I'm not listening to it'........

Tell me about it. I've tried to pull a few random guys while hanging out in noisy compresser houses myself. It's a nightmare, right?

My wife Rule 5'd me the other night.

It wasn't my fault.
I'd had two glasses of wine and if she thinks that I can hack it after that combined with her totally out of wack "happy time" of 3am after I have had a long day...she can think again.

I quite enjoy listening to teenagers talk these days...pretty entertaining. I should imagine that it becomes tedious after a while though.
