Hi guys,

Newbie here again :) This should be the last time I bug you guys for awhile and thnks to everyone who has helped me out so far.

Just looking at buying some paint and as far as I've read (but would appreciate feedback from you guys).

RPS Polar Ice: Best for British Winter Play
RPS Marballizer: Great paint for the rest of the year

If you guys have any thoughts or advise on better paint then I'd love to hear from you :)

Many Thanks.

Both of those paint Brands sound like tournament paints, would be an expensive way for you to train during any time of the year. Most sites that you will go to sell different brands of paint, it's usually worth asking to see what other players are shooting at the site(s).

dark sports seem to be the popular choice of paint for everyone as I've not read much about people having problems with this type of paint, I'v only been back playing for a couple of weeks and it's shooting fine for me.

If your playing in the woods more over then sup air I'm sure that there is a slighty harder shell so that it's slighty less brittle.

Hope I've given you all the right information, if you have anything further to ask, just ask! This forum is a great place to ask if you have any problems :) happy hunting!

Well, with paint, you can buy the most expensive stuff ever, and if you keep it wrong, it will be crap.

Its all in how you keep/store it.
Thanks for that tip mate, whats the best conditions to store your paint in?? Is it just the normal "Cool, Dry place" or is there anything more to it??

Ahh yer I've read a few things were people have been talkin about Dark Sports Paint but I thought Dark Sport was a 0.50cal paint or do they do 0.68cal also?? If so, any ideas on where the best place to get it from?

Also is it right that it's best to get paint thats manufactured in the UK or does it not make all that much of a difference??

Thanks again for your feedback guys.

Dark Sports have both .50cal and .68cal, and a wide variety of different quality paintballs for every situation / budget. Most good paintball retailers should be able to supply you with Dark Sports paintballs.

All the paint you have been looking at is manufactured abroad.

There is only one paint manufacturer in the UK, Powerball, who produce Sterling branded paintballs.

Id lean toward warm dry place over cool dry place.

For example, if you leave em in the garage in the winter, you'll struggle to shoot em ;)

We have been using Sterling Claymore for the past 18 months and never had a problem with it, really good quality paint, the Mace is awesome too.

I personally dont like the marbelliser paint. It has never seemed to shoot well with me.
Sterling is generally a good brand for training and their tournament paint is pretty sound aswell.
Draxxus, although quite exepensive is one of my favoured brands because it always shoots well.

But like everyone else has said, it depends on how its stored aswell. Store it poorly and dont expect to be winning many games :p

Over the last few years, I've shot Proto, Sterling Mace and a few others - currently very happy with the Dark Sports range.

Store somewhere warm and dry (mine's in the airing cupboard) and turn the boxes and shake every now and again...
