No most sites dont allow own paint because they need to make a profit from somewhere UNLESS, it is a walkon day or similar, but they will probably advertise it as BYO Paint or available on site.Where do I start!!,
Thanks everyone for the input, will have a play around and see how i get on with the marker, will ensure any accessories I buy will transfer if I decide I NEED a better marker. One thing I will be on the lookout for is a electronic hopper
not going to spend silly money to start with but I have a mask and gloves that were given to me from a friend
do most sites not allow own paint?
I don't know what to say! thanks very muchNo most sites dont allow own paint because they need to make a profit from somewhere UNLESS, it is a walkon day or similar, but they will probably advertise it as BYO Paint or available on site.
I have a brand new electric hopper you can have if you cover postage?
edit: http://www.empirepaintball.com/invert-halo-too/ one of these. Used twice, works perfect and Im feeling nice
Yeah the wed nites are awesome and cheap! Roll on summer. You do tend to use ALOT of paint playing sup as your on the trigger most of the game but is way more intense. If that kind of game is what you want you will need to upgrade your Marker at some point. I have a slg 09 at the mo which is good enough to stay competitive but by no means top end. Just looking for an 08 ego at the moment as im looking to play more sup/tourney so might be selling the proro soon. What sort of game are you interested in? Ie sup/recI'd recommend you drop down to UCZ in Newton Abbot when their "Wednesday Night Walk-Ons" are back on the in the summer, nice bit of sup'air, box of paint from there is about £23ish, and you can rent full kit there (jersey, pants, Proto PMR, Hopper, etcetc) from them for only a fiver extra! Free air too
Adrenaline is also awesome, nice site, marshals are nice guys
But Paint price's are a bit steep there, but I suppose its a rec site so they're all the same
Enjoy your stay!
P.S: To check out those Wednesday Nights, sign up at the NSPL Forums, it's under "NSPL Academy" for the wednesday nights

P.P.S: Fork out on a mask, you dont want to fog up in the middle of combat . I'd recommend you check out www.lipspaintball.com for details on the masks, and then check out some 2nd hand gear over here
Possibly check out this guys YouTube, he has alot of good stuff for beginners
