when people use the term "top spec laptop", they usually mean "i want an overclockable notebook that will run Crysis on/near to the maximum graphical settings at 1920x1080"
a DV6 wont really cut it as a gamer's notebook unless you are a casual gamer.
besides, i'd hate to be the sucker who trades in an boutique high-end Alienware/Kobalt/Rock notebook for an Ego10; genuine high-end notebook (2nd hand) monetary value greatly exceeds that of an Ego 10.
he might not be after a 'gamer' laptop.........lets just see what he says, he might be interested.
