marq engine screw rounded off ???

my marq's engine screw i think is rounded as ive tryed to remove it with my allen key set 1 allen key is just to small and 1 is just to big does this mean its rounded if it is how do i go about getting it out with out using a drill as nothing good is going to come with me and a drill

Is it a metric or imperial allen key set your using ?

sorry should have stated its imperial there ball ends ive tryed with both ball and other end and same problem

i did use the normal end first so i didn't round it off even more then i tryed the ball i did also try a metric set after that aswell but this didn't work either

i had a simillar problem and got a star allen key and knock it in with a hammer

thanks will give that a try was this on a marq if it was can i ask where you got the replacement from as i will need a new screw

no it wasn't on a marq, but i'm sure if you look on ebay you will find one that will fit, or lips get regular parcels from bob maybe they could get one for you

sorted it now got it out just jammed a flatblade screw driver in it and it come out
