air bottle thread problem

just had a large fight with my air bottle, as it was refusing to come out of the asa, now the thread is a bit diisfigured and would not screw back in. does this mean i will have to get a new bottle?

You can just get the regulator replaced if the bottle has enough life to be worth it.
(But get someone qualified to fit)
