Winter Series 2010/11 dates and rule changes

We will be continuing with MS rule set with the rate of fire capped at 10.5bps

Divisions will be split into

Combined Divisions M5 – 8 5 man flag to flag games £200
Hybrid – 7 5 man flag to flag games 1 race to 3 match £220

Race to 3 – 4 race to 3 matches £220

Race to 4 – 3 race to 4 matches 1 race to 3 match £230

Dates:
Sunday 10th October
Sunday 7th November
Sunday 5th December
Sunday 23rd January
Sunday 27th February
Sunday 20th March

sorry screwed up the number of race matches there

The plan is that after your 3 race matches, you then get a 'play off' game against the other division ie 1st place in the race to 3div then plays 1st place in the race to 4div

let me have your feedback please guys

I always wonder why event prices go up just cos it's a race to 2 or3 or what ever??

It's all to do with time on the field, if you think about allotted time for 8 m5 games it is significantly less than all of the other 3 divisions. I tried to go as cheap as I could whilst still grading that to the appropriate cost, I think even the price of 4 race to 4 matches reflects that, and gives good value for money.

But your right Twizz you see it in the MS and other series and you sit there and work out: x matches X x minutes (game time + turnaround) / 2 (2 teams competing) = total competing time, then work out your entrance from there, and some series just don't add up.

one thing that does make sense though is 4 Race to 4 matches for £230 is pretty good, which could be as little as £8 per game. I know it's not in the same league but compare that to M5 @ £540 Race to 2 £735 Div 2 (race to 3?) £982 for the MS
