Planning to make a custom gun

I've really liked the thought of having a milsim marker but i'd like to put a lot of effort into getting one as its only going to be a one off. After searching around I found out about P90 paintball mods. Due to popular star travelling show I used to watch I've realy like the P90, so I thought why not make one as you cannot buy one.

I looked around and I decided to go for the Ion mod (i'm well aware of the smart parts issue), this is the guide that i'm going to base my design on: http://www.zdspb.com/customwork/p90ion.html .

So i've just started working on the design and i'm wondering if people could give some advice on this, is there anything I should look out for?

Wasn't it funkydiver (or one of the other 360 fireteam guys) who did this first?

pretty simple really, just make sure you get a good p90 case, which is a B!tch unless you own an airsofting liscense... (imitation firearm acts means 50/50 bright colours if you aren't signed up)

and make sure you keep everything locked down, you could probabl end up with a lot of space in there for your solenoid and reg to rattling around in...

I'll try to but it'll be a wile, want to make sure I can get everything and put it all together.

Still need to find an ion marker.....

Not to worry I thinking of doing a Tigerstripe patten if having it black would be a problum.
