My egio is really loud.louder than any 09's or eteks in the team.why?could it be the lpr?if so,how does the lpr work?

the LPR is the regulator which determines how fast the rammer goes (the bit connected to the valve) If the LPR is high it meaans you can lower your HPR and dwell.

the noise could be from hte ram hitting the valve, if hte LPR is high, or you could be shooting hot (find out) OR your dwell could be set low so you get a short blast of HPR rather than a longer less powerful blast...

Depends what barrel your using as well. Carbon barrels are very loud and the old Empire ones.

As Lump has rightly said depends on what barrel you are using on it, some of the new sly kits give the marker one awful clacking sound ...

The LPR Has nothing to do with any noise..

My sugestion would be to give your marker a full tech..

Replace orings and relube your LPR and HPR Regs..

Check that you are not leaking air from anywhere..

Take out your Rammer and also check the orings and replace if required..

But before you strip it down , confirm what barrel you are using..

Can you also tell me what your dwell is set on..

Given that Liamey sounds a little new to Egos I suggest you get someone else, who is used to teching them to look over it. Depending on which events you attend there is almost always someone that knows what they are doing.

Agreed , if your @ super5ives or fed cup i'll have a gander at it...

Also if your @ fed cup im sure there will be some of the planet guys there...

3-Is the sound so loud that people in nearby villages flee their houses in fear of the world comming to an appocalyptic end?

If your answers are

1-No
2-Yes
3-No

Then my advice would be leave it alone and carry on shooting

Well im using the stock barrel just as the lads are on the eteks and 09's.it doesnt really shoot consistant and the noise is quite a lot louder.ill see if reseting the parameters does any good then try and tweek with the dwell.im not all that new to them but ive never had to faff with an £800 marker.lol.i dont play sup air but i guess sending it off to planet could be a final solution.ill get back to you guys if i need any more info.thanks for the help

I would have thought because its an £800 marker, it has more faffing options? Isnt that what you guys pay for? Its the £200 guns that you turn on and shoot.

True but id like it to be better than an etek straight out of the box but ive read an watched videos and write ups so ill try the lpr an stock settings first.
