to be honest not much else i can say. been to a bedlam site once (before i knew any better) and it was the MOST expensive paintball day out on a rental site i have ever experienced.

entry was £20 with 50 balls (iirc), with balls being £10 per 100 there after.
also pushed smoke and paint grenades at jacked up prices in fancy named packages.

would most definitely avoid. - god, even delta force would get a (marginally) better review.....

the skirmish network sites are generally far better.

It's brilliant how they present the packages in such a way to make it sound like your getting a wicked deal, in reality you're actually getting your wallet raped to an Olympic standard.

It is interesting what you say about them Rider, I have never played there as it is too far away but they appear very professional on their web site. They package everything for the new player and I like their ideas of kit, the full helmet and so forth as a big issue with rental players is that fear of being shot.
Very slick looking web site and if they charge extra for additional facilities it must be working if they are expanding? If I was playing for the first time that would reassure me that the facilities are good and that they are going to show you a good time.
Their packages are well presented, yes it is expensive but if they are there once they may want to splash out!

I am not associated in any way with Bedlam, just interested in how they present themselves!

i agree. the whole operation is very slick and professional looking.

shame the games zones are small (much like DF) and designed to get people to chuck paint at each other quickly. it makes for an expensive day out and would put a lot of people off looking to do paintball on a regular basis.

they DO NOT cater for walkons/own gunners in any way. it's site kit only and site prices only.

and Pete: Roman Rock already does very well for himself with several sites under his belt.

I haven't seen that many site owners who don't do very well for themselves ... :)

He sounds like a new beer coming out ..... still, I'm sure with a name like that he's gotta be some sort of character ..... let's hope he's not another Del Boy.
