Can't you get the coordinates from Google Maps

maps.google.com

Find the place you want right click drop latlng marker.

It has to be pin point accurate. I don't think i'm going to get that with goggle maps. Image i'm in a forest and there are a million trees and i hide it under one of those trees. Goggle maps isn't going to be that accurate.

Have a Garmin ETrek you can borrow, it should be accurate enough for your needs, but is really easy to use. Pm me your address and I'll get it sent out.

Ledz it doesnt have to be pin point accurate you can add a clue to help people along in the short term or create a cryptic stash?

I've come across a few which are no where near the location there supposed to be :-(
