Is this a reasonable price

I have been looking around for places to fill my new tank

For a 68/4500psi tank which i believe is 300 bar, i have been quoted the follow

£3.50 for 232 Bar
and
£5.00 for 300 bar

Is that a normal price?

Can i just go to any paintball field and fill up without playing for the day then? I want some air in my tank so i can do some testing at home etc

Filling a tank for paintball is diffrent to filling it for scuba

They have to have allot of filters when filling a scuba tank for diving. Theses need replacing every so often so the air is pure in the bottles it fills.

When filling a scuba tank for paintball all you have to have is a water filter as you will not be breathing the air.

So filling a scuba tank for diving costs allot for a reason.

they've quoted you for a large air tank(12lt- 15 ltr) at that price i reckon
i bet they might not have the adaptor to fill a small bottle

try to find someone local on the forums who has a dive tank and get a fill from them and that way you'll also meet a few players, thats what we did
