ion, shocker grease?

hi all, just picked up an ion for a team mate
looked through manual as not had any experience of theses markers and noticed that manual states to use only SHOCKER grease? is this just sales patter or can i use products like monkey poo grease from o ring monkeys which i use for proto and dye markers without any problems?

any info appreciated cheers

yep monkey poo works great on them , if you havent got any just pick any dow33 based lube up that basically what it is , but smart parts give's you something called sleeek wich is dow33 with their name on it and overpriced , so yea any dow33 based lube , or monkey poo works a charm but if you havent got it then just use dow33 , realy good stuff !!

hater sauce ive used it on every spool i have had work brill and stays on for about 4 cases but i just clean and lube after every walkon
