Bon plays WoW :D What server?

My little brother got the authenticator... his friend broke his phone my mis-typing the password too many times, he was freaking out for like 2 days as the authenticator wouldn't connect properly ;).

Also... its never going to be Paypal letting you down... Always check for the small text at the bottom of emails and websites.. the bits that go on about copyright and trademarks, as legally they cant use them so if you do get cheated and they have those copyright marks when they dont have the rights you can sue them ;) If they dont and you get cheated its really your fault so...

Mozzila, you type in maybe a letter or two and you get the rest without it going through your keyboard that would help... i have them on everything...

The point about the mouse-driven drop-down menu is that the keyboard isn't used; therefore, passnumbers aren't recorded on the keylogger as the keyboard hasn't been used. Simples!!

A good key logger will simply intercept the keystrokes as they are sent back to the website - regardless of the input method (they don't actually read the keyboard itself). Not so simples!

The only 'safe' way is to have pictures instead numbers/letters for passwords. You just click the right combination of pictures.

This is what I now use for my Virgin Money account.

The chap I work with got done by a key logger. Unfortunately on his bank account. HSBC I think, they sorted it within 24 hours.

I got done the following week on my credit card, 2 months later Halifax decided i did not max out a card I had not used in 5 years. I'm now looking at different banks...........

Keep all virus / spyware / etc scanners up to date.

Never ever ever follow emails from Paypal, bank , ebay, etc to a web page to fill in your details. Always go to the website separately log into your account as normal.

For heavens sake don't have the same password on your Facebook as your bank :)
