Invert Mini weak at bolt

Hey all,

having recent solved one pain in the A$$ issue with the magnet between the eyes board and the barrel/bolt housing, my Mini is now totally stressing me out.

its weak at the bolt like pressure is constantly low. its so weak that it doesn't force a ball out of the nightstick barrel.

Luckily, my bruv also has a Mini and i've been able to conduct a few tests, unfortunately this hasn't helped one bit to find out what the jazz is going wrong with it.

i swaped all these parts individually with my bruv's Mini for a test and my Mini was still weak at the bolt :

trigger assembly (air reg & trigger frame),
top half assembly (bolt, bolt/barrel housing & fore-grip)
bolt only (i also separated parts and still weak)
fore-grip only (also resetted but no difference, btw batt is fine)

Basically - worst case scenario

having tried all that, i put everything back together and was fed up, ready to drop it like its hard but i air'd it up and left the trigger grip off, seems to be leaking between air reg and trigger frame.

everything seems tight around that region and the 'O' ring looks fresh.

any ideas? i'm skint so i don't wanna be buying parts that i don't need :(

just double check where the air runs through the grip, the pipes can sometimes break inside but have a check, i could be wrong but no harm to check.. some mini buff will tell you better :p

There is a small 0 ring between the trigger frame and asa, change that and apply a small amount of lube on there too.

As for the low velocity, replace the 3 0 rings on the bolt guide and the 2 outer 0 rings on the bolt, while making sure the spring is round the right way (should click in place on the bolt)

another thing to check is that:

the tank is screwed in all the way
a fresh high quality battery
clean and re lube the poppet and the valve chamber
and then reset the solenoid

if none of that works then pm bolter on here and see what he thinks

hope this helps

Cheers all,

i checked the O ring between the asa and frame yesterday, looked fresh, slapped some lube and no different.
i've not touched the O rings on the bolt and bolt guide as they also look in check.

i definately think its something to do with the asa and pipes region.

i'll change O rings tonight and see if that solves it.
how do you reset the solenoid? is that the same as resetting the fore-grip circuit board?

fire the gun up and turn the eyes off, then (with no air) shoot the gun continuously for around 100 shots

if you don't hear a clicking at first it should kick in after 100 shots

that sounds like the old solenoid issue. i've put a new solenoid in it already and it happily dances with the first trigger pull.

Check the bolt spring is in properly. It only goes on one way round, and wont work very well if its on wrong. The spring is conical, and on the right way, it will click into place. The wrong way, it will be all loose.

Is there a definite leak? Explain to me exactly where it is leaking from please.

even though they look good, change them.

10% wear to 0 rings can cause loads of issues.
