Secondary Marker

The more sources i read and players i speak to seem to shy away from the realistic looking markers for various reasons.. I bought a Sierra one for its "shineyness" and love it although straight away i could see its disadvantages. I really like the realism factor of playing toy soldiers with the sierra one but i doubt heavily i would ever upgrade it.

Thus bringing me to my question... I will eventually start looking for a secondary marker to play speed ball with and generally something worth upgrading, Can any one recommend are worth spending money on, I see the Proto's are cheap and popular... does any one have any suggestions of solid equipment preferably purchasable on the second hand market?

you should go for a smart parts vibe mate

they are great shooting guns for the money and you can also get loads of upgrades for them

so buy a vibe for around £80 and spend the rest of your budget on a good expensive hopper that you could also use on your tippmann, like a rotor (and they do tham in camo)

If you are looking to play speedball, you would need to have a marker that is tourny legal.

Pm8's are pretty good value for money but so is an ego 07. Both these markers you wont have to waste money on upgrading as they both shoot great as they are

if you get a vibe get the vibe blackheart it has all modes lazer eyes and is as light as a dm8 i just paid £100 for a upped on am yet to use it but its nice

for a cheap marekr that does all the electronic stuff, i would go with a smart parts ion, a smartparts vibe, or a proto SLG

those are a vast improvement over the standerd ion but you will probably still want to upgrade the barrel and the feedneck straight away to make it usable
