if you are playing both types of paintball then a robust tourney style marker will do you fine. I would go for a solid poppit valve gun as you will have efficiency for the longer woodsball games and ease of maintainence as most have a pull pin bolt.

Short list of poppits and I'm sure it will be added to

05-10 egos are bulletproof
new smartparts impulse Hard to find but very capable
Bob Long intimidators Older guns but still very good at what they do
Bob long marq series Owned a couple myself and cant fault them
and loads of others

good starter gun slg

i'd recommend an slg from proto, i have bought 2 of these for my lads to use and now they've upgraded to ego's and the slg's are being used by thier friends with no problems for 18 months. you should pick them up for about 70 quid second hand and they are easy to maintain and lube
rate of fire out the box is 10.5 balls a second on default which is great for a starter gun and can more or less keep up with high end markers without being totally outgunned
stock barrel is not great and worth replacing and try to pick 1 up with an ASA and feedneck clamp if possible and should only cost 10 15 quid more
happy hunting

what do u mean 'moved'
it means that the thread has been moved to a different section

and as for the gun, try and get yourself a cheap smart parts vibe, they are probably the best sub £100 marker but you will need a good hopper and preferably an air tank

so the whole set up should cost about £170/180

hope this helps
