Hello All,

I am a new paintballer with a recently purchased Tippman Sierra one, I would like to sort out the hopper side of the marker by off-putting it even further to the side and fitting a low profile hopper... can any one recommend how i can achieve this...
I may (should i stick it out with the Sierra one) get an E grip and electric feed but i don't anticipate doing this so soon.
I appreciate and advice and thank in advance :D

Hey there and welcome to the awsome game that is paintball :D

One thing you can do is attach a cyclone feed ( a quick google will help with that) its basically a mechanical hopper that uses a small amount of gas from firing the marker into moving the paintballs in the hopper into position. The cyclone feed is fully offset, so it is side by side with the marker. and then you can get an X7 low profile hopper (again a quick google will help with that)

I would then go out and use it a couple of times after that, and then decide if you want to change marker, or keep adding to this. i know lots of people who will help you choose a marker at a walk-on, either letting you shoot theirs, or just telling you what its good for and isn't good for.

I personally started with a BT4 Delta, and immeadiatly moved onto an electronic marker, but it really is each to their own.

Thanks,

The folks i have played with so far have been a great help which is a nice welcome into the sport, My first walk on was in a speed ball game and my sierra one was a bit to big and brutish for that type of game and was often what got hit first... regardless i will keep it as a wood ball gun and if choosing to further speed ball i will pick up a secondary marker more fit for purpose.

do you think the change is worth it considering cost involved on a standard set up?

Even with a cyclone on will it still require a battery fed hopper and an E-grip to improve speed? making the cyclone useless unless i upgrade to an electric hopper and trigger?

I really appreciate your thoughts :D

the cyclone does not require any batterys becuae unlike most other hoppers on the market it uses air from the firing of the gun to rotate some paddles making the hopper force fed.

a force feed hopper would dramatically inrease the rate of fire capable by even mechanical guns, you can probably reach around 6-7 on a mech triger which is plenty for woodsball and maybe speedball too

you also might want to consier getting a standerd hopper as you won't be able to fit the cyclone to any marker other than a tippmann

hope this helps

Thanks for your help, i have some one offering me a cyclone on the cheap that i can fit with an X7 low profile hopper, Do you know if i would encounter and issues with adding this to a seirra one?

Also if i added a E-Grip to a cyclone set up how many BPS you think i could achieve?

Im sorry i ask allot! haha! appreciate all help!
