Hey folks,

I'm just wondering how you look after bottles between games, if they have been filled, and are not completely empty? Ie, if you spend £5 on getting your bottle filled, and then don't play again for a couple of months, do you dump the air that's in it, or do you keep it in? Is there a safe way?

I imagine an HPA bottle wouldn't like sitting in a hot car, for instance, if it was full...common sense of course, but it's potentially quite a dangerous item, and I'm just wondering what you all do with 'em...

Cheers,
DSt.

I always empty my unused air as I don't like using old air the next time I play as it doesn't shoot the ball as far as nice new clean air ;)

you can always use it to practice in the yard, with reballs, or just turn your eyes off and do drills inside with no paint...

I keep mine with air in so I can do a bit of shooting in the garden and so I can gas my marker up before I go to make sure it works and doesn't leak so I can fix it before I go so I don't spend playing time trying to fix it.

Agree with this completely. Keep it somewhere that's room temperature and it'll be fine:

Hi

I leave air in my bottle for checking for leaks etc after I have teched my kit.

A rough rule of thumb, if it is a comfortable conditions, temp, etc for you it is ok for you bottle.

If you are not going to use your bottle it will do no harm to leave it gasses up or vent it.

If you are brave enough to have a stako you are never meant to have no pressure in it to stop it coming apart.

I tend to take mine out of the bottle and bag it up, if you leave it in the bottle it will go out of shape
