Paintball makes the main stream press

Sid Sidgwick

Tinkering ain’t easy
Im not 100% sure the Times readers are a paintball sites target demographic ;)

I dont think its necessarily overly bad, some soft boy gets shot and says he doesnt like it, I dont think it will affect site turnover. Even though its a negative review it may get some people discussing it over their morning latte.

Initially ,it would be that we have all met people like that on site there's always one in a day (if you've worked as a marshall of course) unfortunately this one has a column in the Sunday times, paintball ain't for everybody so fair enough. Other than that you have to hope it's not lackadaisical equipment maintenance and poor marshalling making the day an unpleasant experience ,however at no point does he suggest that his mates didn't enjoy themselves.

Planet Piper away from you freaks!
OK so the guy says it hurts, no one know's what one person pain threshold compared to the next............ But this is one guy, and yes he has a national paper where he can voice his opinion more so than the next guy that plays paintball and says it hurts too much, but the fact is paintball hurts, it can hurt more with harder paint........ Personally for me it was the bouncers that hurt more than the ones that broke. With some manufacturers making field paint harder than before to save money maybe this is not the way to go in the long run...........

I don't think it would of made any difference if it was Hellfire mate ,I just think this guy didn't like the whole paintball experience ,In the same way that I can't stand the whole Airsoft experience.
Obviously harder paint is a bad way to go bit I've been in his situation (as described) and I liked it.
