3rd pic down. Rear bumper o-ring (not front, my bad). If it's black, that's what happens after moderate use. If it's orange then it's the newer bumper made of stronger nitrile or something.

having said that, this doesnt not mean the black one wears out after a game or so, it simply means it is far more prone to wear n tear. Many users complained and DYE/Proto resolved the issue with the orange update.

Is it easy to buy and fit a new one?

DYE UK are really good with customer support. If the black one ever fubars through regualr wear n tear, I'm sure they'll be happy to sort you out with the orange one.

subsequent ones will have be bought at your own cost though!

Never had a problem with it, had never heard of a problem with it - a couple of my friends also have cats, also, it being a part of all of the cat breeds it shouldn't be hard to come by...
