I'll be on the look-out for sure. Too bad PE doesn't do a Geo2 Experience like Dye does an NT experience and let a team play with some Geo2's for a day (tourney).Find one to try

All that being said, back to my original question, which internals bits, if any, will be reverse compatible (aside from the GST)? Can the new reg be used on a Geo1?
Bolt should fit and the reg too but will probably be quite a while until they release them as upgrades if it all.

For the reg, they would need to work on it to get it compatible (the way it thread isn't usual, it's now more compact, feel a lot better ! ). The new board is different fitting (use a sls-like board).
The full bolt system might be compatible (never tried, seems to be same diameter but not sure lengthwise), but you need to have the full bolt and proshaft to be able to use it.
You cant swap the reg over at all, it is a new reg. The external thread (which used to be on top of the reg) is on the frame and the new reg has an internal thread.
The new bolt etc will fit but they are NOT going to be available to buy sepaerately and thats fact.
doubtful, the new bolt assemblies were being field tested in 09 style GEOs but the point is rather moot.
