Can a Geo1 be retrofitted with Geo2 parts (aside from GST of course) and will they be available to buy? Or do you need a new solenoid for the new drive core for the new reg etc? Will they even physically fit in the Geo1?

Try the geo2, and you won't want to keep your geo.
Feeling is mucher nicer, more quiet, a cracking new regulator (who said under 1K in the bottle you can't shoot anymore ? That's if you don't have a geo2 ....) and much more consistent (even with mid and lp reg). Seriously, if you liked the geo, you will try to marry the geo2 ....

I don't doubt you and it sounds amazing, but is the new technology worth another £500 above my current sweet shooting GST'd Geo? If so, that would be amazing indeed :p
