It was hot in Fuengirola as soon as the event stopped! Everyone burnt on Monday and Tuesday.

The rain wasn't the biggest issue it was the beach or more to the point the sea that kept coming in over night and taking part of the beach away. Even this did not prevent the event - it was the lightening that caused the biggest safety issue.

I actually agree with Echowitch here a date change would do more to ensure better weather HOWEVER the first year of this re-incarnation of Malaga was earlier than than the last 2 years and the weather was marvellous.

Unfortunately for the MS they tried to make the decision early to cancel the Saturday games and when the lightening came in they made the call - only to have the sun come out ten minutes later. If they had called a halt to all morning games and re-evaluated the situation at say 3pm then perhaps the evening games could have continued.

And look at the UK event - no matter when we do it in the early part of summer you get rain - hold it late sepetmeber when I would expect more rain brilliant sunshine.
