Don't worry, I won't loose any sleep over it :thumb:
I wish you would. A restless night might actually pull the wool from over your eyes.

Personally, I find Cameron far too similar in his stances to the Conservatives of the 80's and that was enough trashing of the country for my lifetime thanks.
Brown is a puppet, and will always be a puppet, and Clegg realistically has no chance of governing outright, but a Labour/Liberal Democrat coalition *could* possibly work in this countries favour.

I was glad to see Clegg coming under some scrutiny this time around.

Some of his policies, for instance immigration are well out of whack with the average persons view. Clegg is the richest, poshest and most out of touch of all the three candidates so it is to be expected.
hmm, cameron was in eton and the bullingdon club and his missus works for Smythson. not to mention the below, I reckon the camerons win the posh battle. (alright it's from wiki but it's probably accurate):

"Born in London, she is the eldest daughter of Sir Reginald Adrian Berkeley Sheffield, 8th Baronet, a landowner and three times a descendant from King Charles II of England, by his first marriage to Annabel Lucy Veronica Jones. Samantha's parents divorced after five years of marriage. Her mother remarried, to William Astor, 4th Viscount Astor, a Minister in John Major's government, and is now styled as Viscountess Astor."

think am converted. cant believe i couldnt find this sooner.

edit. you could have saved this whole debate by showing me this.

only one thing i dont liek is the 31% flat tax. but thats just a tiny problem.
Maybe you've been living under a rock to have not heard of them :)
These are the only people who will change the country.

The big parties promise change but their promises are meaningless.
The fringe parties arent really capable of running the country.

UKIP is different. Their top guys are all proper businessmen with skills to pay the bills so to speak. They are more qualified than Cameron, Clegg and Brown to talk about business, finance etc.
They arent career politicians trying take advantage of our country, they want to devolve the political system.

The rest of the political population hate them, because the political classes are turkeys and turkeys hate Christmas.

The flat tax rate for me is the icing on the cake.
You must know as a business man how insanely complex the tax system is and that billions upon billions of lost productivity can be reclaimed by simplifying it.

Wikipedia shows Cleggs upbringing was just as affluent.

In fact who do we hate more nowadays? Landed gentry or greedy bankers?
At least we have a rational excuse to hate the Bankers :)

Id say then, Clegg and Cameron are equally posh. From where im standing.
Brown is most certainly not posh just inept.

Not that I think being rich or posh is a bad thing. That would just be petty.

yeah, but he only went to Westmister dontcha know. ;) but you're right there's not much in it.

it's true though, I quite like most of the posh people i know. i don't like most of the bankers i've met. I do a lot of work in the city so i've met a few.

I just wish Cameron would stop banging on about "change" i find it intensely annoying. it sounds insincere and is obviously a poor attempt at nicking Obama's big idea.

Well the BNP have firmly nailed their colours to the mast and declared they will stop all Muslim immigrants as if just being a Muslim makes you a terror threat.
The sad thing is that if any face needs a burqa over it it's griffins. He looks more like a toad every day, if his eyes sink any further he will be able to see who in his party is about to stab him in the back...
